State Road Improvements

This consultation has concluded.

Casey faces numerous transport challenges, including the need to ensure that arterial roads, the responsibility of the Victorian Government through VicRoads, keep pace with the municipality's burgeoning population, which continues to grow by nearly 180 people each week.

We want to hear from you about road improvements you think need to be made in Casey.

As Victoria's largest municipality (250,000+) and one of the fastest-growing, the City of Casey believes that major road duplications and intersection upgrades are essential to the safety and sustainability of Casey's road network.

In 2010, the City of Casey welcomed the announcement of improvements to Clyde Road (from High Street to Kangan Road) in Berwick and Hallam Road (from Pound Road to Ormond Road) in Hampton Park.

But more is needed! Casey's country-style main road network remains inadequate to service the municipality's city-sized population.

Council will continue to advocate for improvements to critical sections of the state road system to reduce congestion and improve the safety of Casey residents.
